Back to school shopping for Vera Wang and Twenty One clothes on a budget with thrifting from ThredUp

wording

If you have been following along with the Back To School Shopping On A Budget challenge, you have seen me purchase two nice outfits so far – one featuring Juicy Couture and Gap another featuring Banana Republic and Express and Day 3 featured Levi Strauss and New York and Company. We are halfway through the challenge now, see what I spent on today’s outfit featuring Levi Strauss and New York and Company clothing and if I am still within my $150 limit.

Vera Wang and Twenty One On a Budget

For today, I decided to wear an edgy/rock-ish outfit! For this outfit, I chose a Simply Vera Vera Wang shirt (although it is quite long so you could possibly wear it for a dress if you like) and a pair of Twenty One leather pants.

So what did I pay for today’s outfit?

For today, I chose a Vera Wang black sequined shirt for $9.99 and a pair of Twenty One leather pants for $8.99.

Today’s outfit was less than $19!

Want to see if I can get 5 outfits for less than $150? Be sure to come back daily this week to see. :)

Very trendy. A great going out outfit. She looks very grown up with her hair up, and she is rocking the outfit.

  4. Jo-Ann Brightman says:

I really like the entire outfit and since you have two pieces you can make different combos too.

  5. What a deal- you would never know they are not brand new! So nice! I caused quite a stir in church last week with my “new” dress for Thred up I think they thought I had a lot more money than I was letting on.

  6. I can’t believe that you got a Vera Wang shirt for under ten dollars! It’s adorable. That would look good with dress slacks or jeans. You have good taste.

  7. Sherry Compton says:

Edgy, stylish, and ready for to hit the town or club. Since you spent less than $20, you have money to hit the town with. :) Good picks. Hope you feel playful and fun when you wear it.

  8. Well, your outfit shows that great outfits can be found for a great price! You look wonderful=)

  9. LOVE that tank!

  10. Sherry Compton says:

It’s hard to believe nice leather pants under $10. That and the bright eye make-up really add to the pop of the outfit. Hope you had fun in this.

  11. The sequin top is pretty cute! It’d be great for a party!

  12. This isn’t really my style, but it’s good that you got a good deal on it!
