soup2nuts Custom Banners and Buttons ~
As many of you may know, my other blog, Eat Play Rock, got a revamp on its social media sites a couple of weeks ago. Stace from soup2nuts offered to do the social media designs in exchange for a review. She also offered to do the header and make a new blog button over here on Cheap Is The New Classy for the same deal. I have been wanting a new header for Cheap Is The New Classy for some time, so this worked out perfectly!
soup2nuts Custom Banner Design
Poor Stace. When she asked me what I wanted for Cheap Is The New Classy, all I could pretty much tell her was that I wanted something that was 50s retro. I liked my old banner, but it had been on my blog since January of 1012 and it was just time for a change. But what change? I really just wasn’t sure. So, equipped with only my vague ideas as to what I wanted, Stace went to work.
Here is what my header looked like before Stace at soup2nuts did her redesign.
And here is the custom banner design that Stace at soup2nuts made for Cheap Is The New Classy! She even changed the font for me to make it look more retro. 🙂 So, do you like the change? I know I do!

The blog button design approval went much easier for Stace. I approved the first one. It was just really cool. 😀
Here is the button that I had before.

How Would I Rate soup2nuts?
Once again, my overall experience with soup2nuts was very professional. When it came to my Cheap Is The New Classy banner design, Stace at soup2nuts really had very little to work with as far as knowing what I wanted. I was very vague and unsure of how I wanted the header to look, and we went through a couple of revisions because of this. She was VERY patient with me and everytime I requested a change, she got right on it. She worked very fast and answered emails promptly, as well. Because of her professionalism, I hired her {**Cheapskate Alert** yes, I am actually paying for something!} to do some more work that was not part of either review. Check out the Cheap Is The New Classy social media pages soon to see some of this work. 🙂
I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Stace at soup2nuts and I would hire her again in a second.

Good job. She really took your “50’s” and went with it. I can see the detailing in the design especially in the way Cheap is the New Classy is written and the colors used. She put thought into it and tried to give you a unique look while still doing retro.
Thank you! I agree! I am very pleased. 🙂

I think it looks GREAT! I am fairly new to the world of blogging and giveaways. I really do want to have my own blog. I already have the name and just need to do some research about blogging so that I know what I’m doing somewhat. Soup2Nuts looks like a great service and source of info that I would benefit from. Thanks for posting!
