Bona Stone, Tile and Laminate Floor Mop @BonaBuzz #sponsored

December 28, 2012 by Dawn McAlexander

Cheap Is The New Classy

As many of you know, Bona offers some of the best hardwood cleaning products that you will find on the market. Unfortunately, not all of us (*raises hand*) has hardwood flooring. Never fear! Bona has the rest of us covered, as well! I recently got to try out the Bona Stone, Tile and Laminate Floor Mop. Until then, I had been using a cheap $1 job from one of the local dollar stores so, let’s be honest, even a porcupine would have been an improvement. Regardless, I will do my best to give this floor mop a fair review. 🙂

Bona Stone, Tile and Laminate Floor Mop

This floor mop arrived unassembled and was very easy to assemble. All of the parts snapped easily together. It arrived with a refill bottle of cleaner, as well. For me, that is a definite bonus.

Bona Stone Tile and Laminate Floor Mop

The floor mop has a very large head that swivels {similar to some of the newer vacuum cleaners}. I had no idea that mops came with the swivel feature as well, so I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised. We have a table with 2 benches in our kitchen that are hard wood and really heavy. I do not always want to have to move them for a quick cleanup job and this mop makes mopping around this heavy furniture much easier and faster. Since the floor mop head is flat as opposed to my cheap $1 floor mop, I also don’t get cleaning solution all over my furniture and baseboards.

Bona floor mop cleaner

The cleaner that comes with this floor mop is…

Safe for sealed hard surface floors including: linoleum, stone, terrazzo, vinyl, sealed porous marble, laminate, and no-wax sealed tile (ceramic, Mexican Saltillo, quarry). Waterborne, non-toxic, and leaves no dulling residue.

The assembled Bona Stone, Tile and Laminate Floor Mop and our floors BEFORE cleaning.
AFTER cleaning with the Bona Stone, Tile and Laminate Floor Mop. Shiny!!!!

This floor mop did a beautiful job and left our flooring really shiny. What I love best is that even though the floor is shiny {it appeared as if it had been freshly waxed}, it was not slippery. Admittedly, I was a bit frightened to walk on the floor after seeing how shiny it was as I have stepped on some slick waxed floors before, but there was no reason for it. The Bona Stone, Tile and Laminate Floor Mop left my floor the shiniest I had ever seen it, clean and safe to walk on. It also dried streak free and faster than other cleaning supplies I had used on my floor in the past. I am very pleased with my new Bona Stone, Tile and Laminate Floor Mop.

RIP $1 job from the Dollar Store. It’s been a good {okay, not so good} run.
