Introducing Polar Pillow! I don’t know about you, but I hate going to bed and not being able to get comfortable because I’m too hot. And how many of you keep turning your pillow over, and over, and over…to keep it cool? Well, now with Polar Pillow, I don’t have to worry about that anymore…and neither do you!
When we first got our Polar Pillows, my husband and I couldn’t wait to go to sleep that night and try them out! We were so excited! We first received them when we were having that horrid heat wave that no AC was a match for! Anything that would cool us down so that we could have a restful sleep felt like a good idea to us!
Anyone who receives this pillow might notice is that it is quite a bit heavier than the average pillow. The reason for this is that it contains 12 pounds of specialized cooling gel. So, do NOT have a pillow fight with one of these pillows! I can definitely tell you that the cooling gel in this pillow works! When you first lay on the pillow, you can’t instantly feel cooling, but within seconds the pillow was cool and so was I.
Not only does this pillow cool you down so that you can sleep better, but the website also claims that it “Helps soothe headaches, hot flashes, night sweats, fevers and skin irritations.” Also, according to scientists, when the brain is cooled people tend to fall asleep faster. From my personal experience, I have been using my pillow for approximately 2 weeks now and I can not recall having a single headache – and I do know that I have slept much better. I used to only be able to sleep about 5 hours a night – now I get 7 or 8. 🙂
I also like to put my arm under the pillow when I sleep. So my arm and my head both stay super cool. The website states that the pillow stays cool for about 2 hours, but in my experience, if the Polar Pillow starts getting warm, I just move my head to a different part of the pillow and it is cool again…and that only happens maybe twice a night if that – so I feel like the pillow stays cool for much longer than 2 hours. Overall, I really feel like the Polar Pillow is a great find!

i’d LOVE to try this- i love having cool sheets- especially pillows. when i was young i had a little pillow my mom would put in the freezer for me! that was before this technology. lol

Oh wow, how nice would THIS be during this disgustingly hot summer? I would love one of these for me and my husband. Although my kids are the super-hot sweaty ones, they might need them more than I do!
Earlier this summer our AC stopped working and I would sleep with those blue ice packs in my pillow. They are TOO cold, though. I am glad I heard about Polar Pillow! Way better, lol!

Isn’t that everyone’s dream (no pun intended)… to find the perfect pillow? The Polar Pillow sounds amazing. I have issues with chronic migraines, so I’m really curious to know if something like this would help. By the way, your “So, do NOT have a pillow fight with one of these pillows!” completely cracked me up. Great (albeit, slightly cruel) visual!

I have a lot of pillows on my bed, not just because I use them, but many are just one I tried and they weren’t right. I would LOVE to try this pillow!!! Night sweats because of this warm weather, YES. My A/C is apparently too small , it never seems to get my room as cold as I would love it at night.
I’ll be sure not to have a pillow fight with this lol. This sounds like something that would really help me. I get headaches a lot and would love it if this pillow would help with that. Also I am getting to the point where I’m hot at night (never been that way) so this would really be beneficial!

Interesting. I’ve tried using satin versus cotton versus mixed pillow sheets to try to help me stay cool at night. This sounds like it would be worth a try.

I MUST have this pillow! Peri-menopause rears it’s ugly head at night, and this would be a godsend for that.
Oh wow, I want this pillow so bad!! Hubby has always complained about how much $$ I spend on our pillows, but he never complains about how comfy they are when he goes to sleep! But they are getting old and worn out. It is past time to replace them and I would love to give these pillows a try!
