Novica was nice enough to let me try a few of their wonderful items out. My opinions are my own and I hope that you agree.
I am a lover of anything unique; I am also a lover of helping people. Lastly, I am a lover of fashion. If you are a lover to any of these things, Novica is the perfect website for you! Ever since I was little, I have always loved things that are made special and from faraway places. The reason for this is that the product is unique and made with love, care, and time. When I got the chance to order from Novica, I got very excited! I instantly was ready to raid the entire website! Novica is special because they…
“want to give artists and artisans around the world a global platform to express their true artistic talents and to spur their creativity. And, we want to provide you with access to unique, hard-to-find items at great values that only the Internet infrastructure can allow.”
When I first got on the website, I knew instantly what I wanted to order….a sling purse! I recently fell deep in love with sling purses and I wanted to get one desperately, but I wanted one that was unique and expressed much personality. Thanks to Novica, not only did I get one, but I got two!
The first sling I picked out was the Cotton sling tote bag, ‘Pink Elephant’ by Jiap Rojjana in Thailand. It is black with an elephant on the front. Along with the elephant, there are silver sequins and other unique embroidery work. Not only did I get this bag for mega cheap, but the shipping is crazy cheap (especially considering it is coming from Thailand!) Also, this sling came with an Artisan Story Card.
The next sling I picked out was the Cotton sling handbag, ‘Bagadu Beauty‘ by Manjuri Hazarika in India. Ever since I can remember, I have been obsessed with anything and everything from India. I love their culture, artwork, way of life, and much more. When I saw this sling, I knew that I would be getting it right away! With this purse, I got a post card! On the post card was a picture of where the purse was made, and on the back was a handwritten letter from the creator (In Indian and then translated to English). I was very, very happy to see this! How very thoughtful!
The last thing I got were a pair of Falling Rain cluster earrings by Nareerat. Looking back on the website now, I can no longer find these earrings. The availability of Novica’s items changes often due to artisan’s tastes and availability of materials needed to create these items. I am really glad that I got them when I did! The artist card that was included says, “This design was inspired by falling raindrops.” Altogether, I love everything I got from Novica, and hopefully will be ordering from them again!
Some other items that are really great that I want to highlight are…
Amethyst Dangle Earrings - Novica has many different varieties of Amethyst earrings, but the ones pictured above are a favorite of mine.
Garnet Dangle Earrings - As with the Amethyst, there are tons of different styles of Garnet earrings to choose from. This particular pair only has $2.99 shipping!
Amber Earrings - Amber and Peridot drop earrings! Gorgeous!
Silver Pendant Necklaces - “Elephant Stack,” also available with $2.99 shipping!
Silver Cocktail Rings - I LOVE this ring from Mexico!!
As you can see, Novica has tons to offer! If purses aren’t your thing, they have jewelry and all kinds of items for around the house to choose from. The list is pretty much endless!
