Cute And Cheap DIY Thanksgiving Centerpieces #sponsored @DollarTree

I like to decorate my home for the holidays, but I don’t like to spend a lot on it. I mean, after all, there are a lot of holidays. For instance, you could spend a small fortune on centerpieces alone if you are not careful. So, when I was thinking about cute and cheap DIY Thanksgiving centerpieces, I naturally thought of Dollar Tree.

Cute And Cheap DIY Thanksgiving Centerpieces

Dollar Tree has a lot of items that you can use to make very cute crafts. My husband, daughter and I recently checked out the Thanksgiving and fall items in stock and were pleased to find several items that would be great for a centerpiece. We picked up a basket, foam blocks, flowers and ribbon {which we ended up not using for this craft, but you definitely could} and all of it was less than $10. The items that we used for our centerpiece ended up totally $5 + tax at Dollar Tree. Not too shabby.

You Will Need…
1 basket in your choice of color {we choose a purple}
3 packs of clip on flowers {they contain 2 flowers each for a total of 6}
1 pack of foam blocks

Preparation…
1. Start by taking the foam blocks out of the plastic and stand them on their side in the basket. You may have to shove them in there to make them fit. It’s ok if you break some small pieces off to make them fit. You won’t see them. They are just a base for your flowers.

2. Attach the flowers to the base foam. These flowers are meant to clip to a wreath. That’s ok. Stab those babies through the base and you are good to go.

3. Your masterpiece is complete and it took like what, 5 minutes. 🙂

4. Enjoy your Thanksgiving.
