Vertical Blinds ~

We recently bought a new living room suit. With the addition of our flagstone fireplace and our beautiful area rug last year, our living room is almost complete. However, there is one area that needs major improvement – our window blinds. We have some vertical blinds in our kitchen over the sliding glass doors that lead out to our deck, so we thought we would peruse the selection of blinds available at Blinds.com.

Vertical Blinds In Non-Traditional Materials

One thing that we really loved about Blinds.com is that they offered blinds in a huge array of materials. The ones that we currently have in our kitchen are plastic and, to be honest, as far as vertical blinds go I was not aware that there were tons of material choices. I have to admit that these mirrored vertical blinds are very cool. I think they would look awesome in a bathroom!

Bring The Outdoors In

Or how about these faux wood vertical blinds {they also offer real wood blinds, if that is your preference}. Cozy up any room with these blinds that seem to pull in the nature. I would really love to use these in a den or in my rec room in the basement. I like the rich color of this set of blinds in particular. You can get your blinds with the same color on both sides or if you are looking for something a little more dramatic, you can choose to have your blinds with white on the backs. That way you can change the entire look of your room in a flash!

And finally, if you are like me, then you like to stretch that dollar as far as you can. Blinds.com understands this and that is why they offer blinds for every price point. I love their fantastic selections of Smooth PVC and fabric vertical blinds at incredible, every day deals. And don’t forget to check out their frequent sales on all of their blinds. I am sure you will find something that both you and your wallet will love.

  • Window and door blinds are great for homes. Although, personally, I prefer curtains since they're so much easier to clean and they look more warm in the eyes. Using curtains rather than blinds make the home more inviting to guests.

  • Hi Dawn!
We're so glad that you found some things you liked! Verticals are such a great solution for sliding glass doors and wide windows, and they really look modern in new materials like faux wood. We have a new line of s-shaped verticals that interlock to keep out more light. (http://blnds.cm/XDEC5t)

  • These look really nice. So simple and elegant. My little guy ripped our super expensive fabric blinds when he was throwing a tantrum, so I want something less expensive to replace them. Vertical blinds sound nice!

  • I like vertical blinds for certain spots. Be use the for ou sliding back doors and they are great. I'm looking now to get new ones but hey can be really expensive. I hadn't thought about a wood look or using them for our windows.
