On the edge of Sevierville and Pigeon Forge, in Tennessee, you will find Appleview River Resort. These condos and villas are just off of the main road enough to feel semi-secluded but staying here puts you only a short drive from major attractions like Hard Rock Cafe, Smoky Mountain Opry, Titanic Museum, and the Hatfields and McCoys Dinner Theater.
A Tour Of My Condo At The Appleview River Resort In Sevierville
I have to say that this was one of the nicest condos that I have stayed in while on vacation. The condo offered many of the conveniences of home like comfy seating areas, cable, a microwave and coffee maker. You guys know how I love that. There was also a washer and dryer and the owners were kind enough to leave some detergent, dish soap and other things like that which one might need while on vacation but not want to make a run to the store for. My absolute favorite part was the beautiful balcony that overlooked the river. I took many pictures of the scenery which seemed to change daily.
If you came to Sevierville to relax, or if you brought a significant other for some romance ;), I think you will love this jacuzzi tub. My condo also had a shower in the jacuzzi, so if you are just not into that whole relaxation thing {what?!?!} then you would be covered, too.
I have to say that the fireplace was amazing – perfect for the Great Smoky Mountains ambiance. I thought the bed was really comfortable, as well, and the bedroom also offered access to the balcony, just like the living room.
The Appleview River Resort condos are divided among several different buildings [I stayed in #4]. A couple of buildings down from where I stayed is this gorgeous riverwalk. You can also get to the river from the office building, which is where I got all of the pictures that I took of the ducks.
Just a short drive down the road, you can get to the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant. This is definitely where I recommend having breakfast. Make sure you try their Applewood Bacon, Apple Fritters and Applewood Julep. You should also check out the rest of the buildings near the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant. And be sure to stop in the Applebarn Cider Mill and General Store and get some fresh Apple Cider before you leave.

Look at how cozy that cute little condo is! I have never been anywhere in Tennessee, but I would love to visit there one of these days.
I always enjoy eating at the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant. It's a must every time we visit the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Those apple fritters are amazing! The resort looks so cozy and I love the fireplace and the views.
What a beautiful countryside resort. Love how they decorated the rooms and how comfortable they look. Being outside it what it is all about. Fall would be perfect time to visit with all the colors.
This is such a gorgeous area! The condo is really pretty. I would be happy staying here. That restaurant sounds tasty too!
Wow you have a really nice condo. That bathtub is outstanding. I wish mine looked like that. You decorated the place wonderful.
I haven't been there since I was a child. I really would love to go back one day. The plan is to go during Christmas one year, and celebrate in a beautiful condo like that!
With 4 kids condos are the only place we stay while on vacation. I love the comforts of home and being able to cook our own meals, do a load or two of laundry if needed and the space. Everyone can have their own space. Appleview River Resort looks absolutely gorgeous. Looks like your family really enjoyed their stay.
I kind of love when resorts are separated into different buildings! Helps with the noisy kids that are always with me. ;)
The fireplace is stunning...wow! What a nice place to relax and unwind for a long weekend.
Sevierville! I haven't heard that city's name since I lived in Chattanooga and worked in Cleveland, TN! So beautiful!
