We have two of the cutest dogs in world. It’s so amazing to me how they have stolen our hearts with their cute, tiny faces. So, we love to deal all that we can to make sure that they are happy and well taken care of. You can show your dogs love in lots of ways such as choosing the right foods, spending time with them and making them little gifts. Snuggly naps are a great way to care for your dogs and they are great for your soul, too.

Daisy has been scratching a lot lately. This happened a few years ago so we decided that a trip to the vet was in order. The vet decided that we should switch to a sensitive skin formula for Daisy. Puppy Mister has been biting at his paws and the vet said that is also a sign of food allergies. Who knew? Our vet said not to change the brand, just to move to the sensitive skin formula. Daisy and Puppy Mister have been eating Purina® almost their entire lives, so we decided to try Purina ONE® Smart Blend Sensitive Systems Formula. We are currently feeding them the salmon variety and they absolutely love it!

We love our dogs and want them to be happy. I am sure you feel the same way about your little pets! Chihuahua Beach Basket Ideas

Unfortunately, we don’t live at the beach. Awwww… That doesn’t mean that our chihuahuas don’t deserve a beach day, though. Here are some cute Chihuahua Gift Basket Ideas that you can use either at the beach or at home to give your little fluff a much deserved beach day!

Beach Ball – I wouldn’t recommend this for a dog with a big mouth that will bite it, as it could scare them or cause a choking hazard, but my dogs are small and just push it around and chase after it.

Beach Towel – My dogs love to get under covers and sleep. It’s the same deal with a beach towel.

Chew Toys – Dogs love to chew. Naturally. My dogs are small but they think they are big – especially Puppy Mister, so they aren’t scared of a big toy. Sometimes they chew or gum them to death. Sometimes they snuggle them up and take naps.

Dog Food & Water – Purina® Bella Small Dog Food and Purina® Beneful® Prepared Meals are the perfect size to carry to the beach or your “beach” in your own backyard. I give these to my dogs occasionally as a special meal and they absolutely love them. And I love the convenient, portable sizes and the easily resealable containers. And don’t forget to have plenty of water on hand. Hot days at the beach make for thirsty dogs. 🙂

Snacks – My dogs LOVE Purina® Beggin’ Strips. I mean, they go crazy over them. We have tried several varieties and they really prefer the ones that have cheese or bacon flavor but, honestly, I have yet to see them turn their noses up at any Beggin’ Strips variety. Nom. Nom.

Kiddie Pool – My chihuahuas aren’t having that, but that doesn’t mean that yours won’t! Though, I will admit that Daisy Baby loves to hop in the tub at home – especially when it’s wet after someone just showered. If we are not careful, she will sometimes jump in when we are showering! Silly dog! She loves the tub! Puppy? Not so much. 😉
