Myrtle Beach Cheap Hotel Rates Through October #travel #MyrtleBeach

I love going to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It has been a vacation destination for me and my family since I was a child. I remember my aunt taking me there several summers and then, as an adult, I have taken my daughter several times. Check out some of the posts we have done about awesome things to do in Myrtle Beach and read below for Myrtle Beach cheap hotel rates to help you plan your perfect vacation.

Myrtle Beach Cheap Hotel Rates Through October

Did you know that Myrtle Beach was named one of America’s favorite beach towns in Travel + Leisure Magazine for this year? I have vacationed there in probably every month of the year and I have to say that my favorites are September, October, December and April. Why? Because it’s not so crowded and September, October and April are great temperature wise in my opinion. It’s not too hot and not too cold. Also, December doesn’t get terribly cold there and it offers some really great shopping this time of year, as well!

The Grand Strand has 60 miles of beaches and I recommend you don’t just stay at Myrtle Beach. Venture down to Surfside and check out the fleamarkets. These are a staple in our Myrtle Beach trip. There are several throughout the area but I particularly like the ones in Surfside which is just minutes away from the main road to the hotels in Myrtle Beach.

  • I have not been to Myrtle beach but would love to visit! Thank you for the list of affordable hotels. It would really come in handy when we do get a chance to travel to South Carolina.

  • I've never been to Myrtle Beach, but it sounds like an awesome vacation spot. We may check it out for fall break.

    • It really is. There is so much fun to be had there. Be sure to go to Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach when/if you visit. They are personal favorite areas of mine.

  • I live about 5 hours from Myrtle Beach and from the time I was 18 till my mid twenties I probably went to the beach for 3 to 4 day trips about a dozen times every summer. My friends and I would head out on Friday night, get to the beach as the sun came up, spend the day at the beach, shower and go out and party till dawn, hit the beach again and then drive home. Then we'd work all week and repeat. Oh, for the energy of our youth!

    • I know how you feel. When I was younger, I used to go to 2 or 3 concerts every weekend and I worked almost all of the rest of the hours in the weekend. Now, I would be lucky to even attend one without feeling dead the rest of the weekend, lol. Ah, youth.

  • It has been ages since I have been to Myrtle Beach! This just made me want to get my family back there so my kids can enjoy it like I did when I was a teen.

    • It's been 2 or 3 years since we have been there as well. These are perfect prices to change that, though.

  • Wow, this is great. I've always wanted to go there and with these great rates I could probably afford it.
