All the animals in our home are members of the family just as much as we are. So, naturally, we love to take care of them and pamper them when we get the chance. With that in mind, we think it is always a good idea to get your kitties their own special gift at Christmas. So here are some Christmas gift ideas for cats that we love.
Christmas Gift Ideas For Cats
Kitty Spa Day – If you really want to go all out, you could treat your kitty to a spa day and let them be pampered, cleaned, nails trimmed and generally well pampered.
Cats Love Friends – If your cat is a social creature, he might like another feline friend. If you are like us, we aren’t always at home, so someone for your kitty to associate with while you are gone might help relieve loneliness. Introduce animals to each other gently, though. They don’t always get along.
The Gift Of Comfort – Cats love to sleep, so you can never go wrong with a nice, comfy cat bed. I have never known a cat not to enjoy a cat bed. It’s also fun just to sit there and watch them sleep. It can really be a good stress reliever for you, too.
Cats Love Tasties – You could go with the all-time classic, treats. Vitakraft has a brand new line of products called Purrk! that are specially designed with your cats in mind. Purrk! consists of many different toys and treats that will have your cats rubbing all over you to say thank you for giving them Purrk! The line consists of several different cat treats in a variety of flavors, such as Savory Salmon, Tasty Tuna and Temptin’ Chicken. Without a doubt your cats will love these delicious and healthy treats.
– Feline Silvervine is all-natural and safe for cats who enjoy catnip.
– Purrk! Playfuls is the first full toy line to bring Silvervine to the U.S.
– Toy line includes dangling Busy Bee and Bouncy Butterfly, free-moving furry Deep Sea Bug and Desert Bug, and plastic Marvy Mouse, Purrky Bird, and Frisky Fish with Silvervine infused right in them. Feline Silvervine is also available in refill packets for sprinkling on kitty’s favorite things.
– Preferred by cats, 3 out of 4 over catnip
– Cats play 2.5 times longer with Silvervine than they do catnip and return to toys with Silvervine more often.
– Enrich your cats’ lives
Cats Love Toys – If your kitty is as young and playful as our own Hoss {aka Hoss Mister} is, then he might enjoy some toys. Purrk! also contains several different toys for cats as well. The most interesting thing about these toys is that they are infused with silvervine, which is a catnip alternative that is healthier and all-natural. These toys will make your cats go crazy with fun. There’s the Deep Sea Bug, which I thought personally was the most unique toy in their line, and Marvy Mouse, which wound up being Hoss’s personal favorite. He literally tried to take it out of my hand before I could even get it open! Crazy cat!
There you have it, my list of great Christmas gifts for your kitty. I hope this helps you out, and don’t forget to check out the brand new line of Purrk! treats, toys and cat litter from Vitakraft. And be sure to tell your kitty Happy Holidays from us!

Both your kitties look like they love their new toys and the Silvervine! How fun. At least you know they will not be bored while you are gone now.
Yes I always get my girls Christmas presents. I always use a fun ribbon (always watch your kitties with ribbon to make sure they don't eat it very dangerous). I like to see their faces when they get new toys.
I have five Treeing Walker Coonhounds and three cats - all rescues. I buy treats and toys for them all for Christmas (and birthdays and gotta days).
We do get them all presents for Christmas and for their birthdays. They each have their own gift bag to go in and get the toys out of. We get lots of catnip toys..... all of them love catnip
My cat gets a new collar and tag, toys and some treats every year.
These are fun ideas. It'd be purrrr-fect to fill up a stocking with all of these goodies for Christmas! Well....at least the things that would FIT in a stocking. ;)
These look like great toys. I need to pick a couple up for my friends cats.
I am allergic and therefore will never have a cat, but wonder if we get a dog this weekend, would I give him a holiday gift?
Only time will tell!
thanks,
Mitch
Yes, I get presents. I love Silvervine and hope to win.
Awe! Your kitties look so happy with their new toys! I always get a kick out of cats playing with toys, they are so funny!!
