The Best Advice My Mama Ever Gave Me
I have always considered my aunts to be awesome mother figures. They have each given me some pretty good advice over the years. What is really cool is that they are both totally different so I often get different perspectives on the same topic. My aunt Mary is loyal {sometimes to a fault} but sometimes you just want someone to take your side, you know? I love how she just listens and tries to see the best in you, even when you aren’t necessarily acting the best you can. She has always told me that you should stand by people and let them know that you care. She sometimes gets hurt for this in the end, but she is still loyal to those that she loves.
My other aunt, Marge, taught me that you could take a situation and make it better. She taught me that the situation that we are in is not what defines us and that we often have the power to change things, with a little hard work. That is a really empowering thing to learn. She has helped me out of several jams that I have either gotten myself into or that were beyond my control. Though I don’t always say it, I really appreciate it and will never forget it. She taught me that there are people who are willing to help. You just have to ask.

Organization is the key to efficiency!
The Best Advice my mother ever gave me was that I needed to exercise and eat healthy. I have a love of Fitness and Nutrition today and still exercise with my mom.
Remember the good days to get through the bad. Life is hard and long and there are more bad than good. Hold onto the good memories.

She was not one to give advice, I can't remember any she gave me.
Marriage, family...you have to put in some work but it's worth it in the end.
Also, that she loves me.
My mother used to say to us girls "Pretty is as Pretty does." What it basically means is treat others as you want to be treated. Be kind to everyone and everyone will be kind to you. I have tried to teach my children the same thing. You just never know how someone elses day is going or what is going on in their lives. So a llittle kindness can go a long way.
My mom has always taught me the importance of keeping the lines of communication open with your children. Always listen with an open mind and an open heart.
My mother always told be to be careful who you trust, be true to yourself and honest
My grandmother told me late in her life to stop worrying about what I've done in the past--even badstuff-- because what I will regret in the end is what I wish I HAD done but didn't.
