Magic Potions, Spells and Curses, Oh My!
For any of you that might be interested in snagging a magic potion {to trap that man you have been eyeing} or spells and curses {to put a spell on that girl he has been eyeing}, you better get them while the getting is good.
According to ABC, the sell of such items will soon be prohibited on Ebay. August 30th will mark the end of such items offered on their buying market. You also will no longer be able to buy hexes, prayers, healing sessions and much more.
Ebay states that these categories that they are discontinuing often result in arguments and disagreements between the buyer and seller that are not easily resolved. Um, isn’t arguing with strangers over cheap merch half the allure of Ebay?
So, listen up all you Harry Potter freaks, you better get your goods now. Or do without. Or you can sing about it, like these people do {or did}.
No more Love Potion #9 on Ebay. Maybe some Chanel, whatever # that was.
Hey Creedence, if you are going to put a spell on me, you better get to it. Time is a wasting.
I think Bobby Bare’s muse, Marie Laveau, is okay. I think she cooks up her own home brew.
So, prohibition vicariously led to smuggling which in turn led to the beginnings of NASCAR. I wonder what banning spells and curses will lead to? Bleh. Probably some kind of weird clone of Jersey Shore meets The Exorcist. *shudder*
Gee, thanks Ebay.
