My First Cold Sore Experience

After I met Dawn and Amber, it was only a few months afterwards, that I discovered that they both were prone to cold sores. At that time, I had never had a cold sore in my life. Ever. We have lived together for over ten years now and I still had not ever gotten my first cold sore, until about three weeks ago. Both Dawn and Amber had said that they could tell when a cold sore was coming on by a tingling sensation in their lips. I felt said tingling sensation and thought to myself, “Am I getting a cold sore?”

How I Dealt With My First Cold Sore

Of course I brushed off the notion, since I had never had a cold sore, until a couple of days later when, lo and behold, Dawn asked me, “Do you have a cold sore?” Sure enough, there it was, plain as day. I am over 40 and have never had a cold sore in my life. Neither of us could believe it. My lip was sore and, lucky for me, Lip Clear had just sent us a Lysine+ Cold Sore Treatment Pack for Dawn to review. Talk about timing! So, I decided to review the kit myself. I grabbed the tube of Lip Clear Lysine+ Cold Sore Treatment and, using a clean finger as to not spread the germs, I applied a small amount to my cold sore. Then I washed my hands again after application.

Lip Clear Lysine+ Cold Sore Treatment
Lip Clear Lysine+ products are made with herbs and vitamins, “inspired by nature.” I think that’s a good thing, personally. I don’t want some strange, hard-to-pronounce chemical on or even near my lips. Lip Clear Lysine+ Cold Sore Treatment is designed to relieve the pain, burning and itching of a cold sore. The Cold Sore Treatment also cuts the healing time for a cold sore in half, compared to an untreated cold sore.

The one thing that Dawn said was the worst about a cold sore was the tightness and I agree. It feels like your lip is going to split in half. After experiencing the cold sore, the tightness is what bugged me more than anything. Within minutes of applying Lip Clear Lysine+ Cold Sore Treatment, that was no longer a problem. The burning and itching stopped right then and there, too.

Lip Clear Invisible Cold Sore Bandages
We also received some Lip Clear Invisible Cold Sore Bandages, designed to conceal cold sores as they heal. My lip started bleeding one night so I decided to use one of these bandages to protect it while I slept and the cold sore had healed quite a bit overnight. You could also barely see the bandage and I did nothing to conceal it. However, if you would like to conceal it completely, watch the helpful video above to learn how. I would definitely use these again.

Lip Clear Lysine+ Lip Treatment And Protectant
We also received Lip Clear Lysine+ Lip Treatment and Protectant with SPF-21 Sunscreen, which I will save for Dawn, because she suffers from the worst chapped lips in the house, poor girl.

Thanks to Lip Clear, I really have to say that the first cold sore I experienced was not that big of a deal. I have heard how much Dawn and Amber have talked about how painful and annoying cold sores are, so I would have to say that my experience with a cold sore was not all that bad. Being honest, it may have been that my cold sore wasn’t a bad one, but I like to think that Lip Clear Lysine+ Cold Sore Treatment did it’s job and made my cold sore experience easier to deal with.

I was very glad to have the Lip Clear Lysine+ Cold Sore Treatment on hand for my troubles and I am recommending it to all of you who suffer from cold sores or fever blisters. Don’t let a cold sore ruin your Valentine’s Day. Keep your lips smoochie with Lip Clear Lysine+ Cold Sore Treatment.
