White Chocolate & Coffee Trifle Recipe [sponsored]

This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by Chocolat Frey. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic.

It’s the holiday season {and now I have that Andy Williams song stuck in my head} and it’s time for all things tasty! I am talking chocolate. I am talking coffee. And yes, I am talking a teensy bit of alcohol. Who’s ready for a perfect gift idea for those you love? Then this dessert in a jar White Chocolate and Coffee Trifle recipe might be just what you are looking for.

White Chocolate And Coffee Trifle Recipe

You will need…
6 6 ounce jars OR 3 8-12 ounce jars
2 cups prepared vanilla pudding
3 tbsp of your favorite brand of Dark Italian Espresso coffee
1 6.3 ounce Frey Blond Crunchy Almond Bar
1 cup heavy cream
12 sugar cookies
1/4 cup Kahlua {be sure to get the kind without rum}

How To Prepare…
1. Grind the coffee until it is fine. We used the Nutri Ninja 2-in-1 for this. Then combine the coffee and pudding in a bowl and stir until well blended. Set aside.

2. Break up the chocolate into chunks but set aside a few pieces for garnishment. Put all of the chocolate {aside from the garnishments} into a microwavable bowl and heat in 30 second increments, stirring between, until fully melted.

3. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer at medium speed and whip the cream into soft peaks. Then slowly add in the melted chocolate, while whisking constantly. Do this until the cream mixture is very thick. Set aside.

4. Use one jar to cut the cookies so that they fit into the other jars. I used 3 jars, so I put 2 cookie rounds in the bottom of each. If you use 6 jars, you will need to put 1 in the bottom of each. Spoon the Kahlua over the cookies. Cover the cookies with some of the pudding mixture and then some of the chocolate cream. Try to do this as evenly as possible. You should continue alternating layers until you run out of supplies. Then cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 24 hours and serve.
