The Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant & Grill #travel #ad #Sevierville

The Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant & Grill is part of several apple themed shops in Sevierville, TN, in one location. We visited several of them so I will tell you a little about each of them in this post. First, we had a tasty breakfast at the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant & Grill.

Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant & Grill

If you are looking for a nice, country breakfast while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, then the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant & Grill is a place you need to check out. The servers are all dressed in patchwork and gingham type dresses and you can even sit in a porch swing to enjoy your breakfast if you are so inclined.

A real treat at the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant & Grill is the Apple Cinnamon Muffins and Apple Fritters they serve with breakfast. I can’t say I have ever had a fritter before, but it was really good. I definitely recommend you try one if you get the chance. I also had eggs, toast and Applewood bacon for breafast. Yum!

Applebarn Cider Mill & General Store

If you love fresh apple cider, then this is definitely the place for you. We got to explore the back of the house and learned how they separate the apples into categories. The biggest and best go into bags for sale. The medium ones are used for caramel apples and the smallest and most flavorful ones are used for the cider. Trust. Their cider is amazing! I meant to buy a bottle to bring home and didn’t. *Sniff* Oh well, that gives me a reason to return. 😉

I did buy some of their bread, though. I bought sourdough – my staple as far as breads go. I also bought some Homemade Blackberry Cobbler Bread. Have you ever heard of such a thing? It was crazy good. And we were also given some bread to take home. I asked the owner to choose for me and he chose Apple Coffee Cake. I haven’t tried that one yet, but it looks amazing. We were too busy snarfing down the first two.

The Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant & Grill is also located near a sweet shop, gift shop and a winery. They also plan to have apple picking in the near future. How fun would it be just to spend a day there? You could enjoy breakfast, go pick some apples, shop in the store, have a cup of cider and then stroll around and look at the beautiful scenery. I think you will love it.
