Save Money With WPS Office #sponsored #OfficeAlternative

I don’t have Microsoft Office on my computer. Why? Well, it’s expensive. So, I have just never loaded it. And sometimes that is a problem. Some PR companies I work with send me files I can’t open so I have to ask them to send them in a different format. And that is a pain for both of us. So, when I was offered the chance to try out the Microsoft Office Alternative, WPS Office, I have to admit I was pretty happy about it.

Here is an example of how WPS Office has helped me already. I am headed out this week on a press trip {yay!} and I needed to sign a form. Well, I couldn’t open it. So, I downloaded WPS Office to my computer. It literally took minutes and I was immediately able to open the document. I was also able to edit it, sign it and send it back to the representative.

WPS Office looks so familiar and like Microsoft Office that I was able to immediately use it without having to learn a new product. I love that. I am not all that techy and I keep gadgets and programs for years just because I don’t want to learn something new. I think other people who are set in their ways like me will take quickly to WPS Office. Easy peasy.

WPS Office can open all kinds of documents including DOC and PDF files, the ones I deal with mostly. It is a full office suite software and comes complete with several useful programs including Writer, Spreadsheets, Presentations and the ability to read PDF files. It is also endorsed by CNET and PCWorld.

  • I like that they have templates to help you create fancy presentations and advanced spreadsheets. They also offer more than 230 fonts to help you really personalize it.

  • This is an awesome giveaway! My MS Office subscription just ended, so I am in need of something!

  • WPS sounds like a great suite. What I find impressive is that you can do pretty much all of the advanced things you can with Office. Most free suites are very bare bones.

  • I learned it has Multi-Document Tabbing (easy switching), which I really need. Thank you for the review, or I would not have learned about this.

  • I should definitely try this out. It sounds great and the price is super affordable. I may have to check out the trial.

  • Ohh I am definitely going to have to check this out - I am all for a cheaper alternative that does just the job! x

  • This sounds like a great alternative to Microsoft Office - my son is always struggling with attachments his teachers send since his computer is new and we havn't put office on it yet so we'll have to check this out!
