As the weekend approaches, we all face that same dilemma. It’s time to buy groceries, but you don’t want to blow your budget. Save Money On Groceries With Flipp App
The Flipp App is available for smartphones on Google Play and the App Store. What does it do? It puts all your local circulars in one place and makes it easy to comparison shop. Looking for a single item to compare among local grocery stores? Simply type the item in the search bar, and the Flipp App will pull up all circulars with that item in them for all the local stores, right to that item. All you have to do is look and compare the prices. It doesn’t get any simpler than that! But the Flipp App also allows you to create a grocery list right there on the app so that you can reference when you are shopping. That way you don’t forget an item. It is so much easier with the Flipp App and it saves a ton of time, and money!
$6.72 Saved Thanks To The Flipp App
I used the Flipp App on a recent grocery trip. I had a budget of $100 and had to try and find the best deals to get us groceries for the week. I searched all the local stores to compare and find the best deals. I will give you specifics in a moment, but overall I saved $6.72 on my $100.23 order by using the Flipp App. Now, mind you I was searching for very specific items and brands. Had I used it for more general grocery shopping my savings would have been even more. But $6.72 saved is an extra $6.72 in my pocket for basically no prep, so I am pleased. 🙂
For example, a simple search and comparison saved me 44 cents on a pack of toilet paper (we are brand specific here, we only use one type of toilet paper in our home) and 20 cents on the pound for chicken breasts. They were a little cheaper and boneless at Walmart. Lowe’s had a sale on chicken breasts, however it was not boneless. The best savings were on potatoes. The Flipp App showed me that potatoes at Food Lion were on sale 2 for $5 for a five pound bag, but Save-A-Lot had 2 for $5 on ten pound bags, a savings of $2.50! And it was all thanks to the Flipp App.
Bonus $16 Savings Thanks To The Flipp App
Although I didn’t use the Flipp App to find it in particular, I found a huge savings on K Cups. We are all huge coffee drinkers in our house, so this was hugely important. I wound up saving nearly $16 on 42 K Cups, and, with the savings that the Flipp app afforded me, I was able to buy an extra box of K Cups! More coffee for us! I also would not have found this savings at all had it not been for the Flipp App enticing me to go to this store in search of another savings that it told me about. I consider that a win-win.
