Labor Day was a little over a week ago and we decided to try something a little different – and with a little help from the awesomesauce folks at Dunkin’ Donuts. They sent us a fabulous box fool of Dunkin’ Donuts tastiness and we took it over to my hubby’s moms place and we had ourselves a coffee party featuring the new Dunkin’ Donuts Bakery Series Coffee. And yes, it was as tasty as it sounds.

How To Have An Awesome Coffee Party

We set up everything on the table at Peggy’s {Jay’s mom} home and everyone was pleased to find that Dunkin’ Donuts sent enough mugs and coffee for everyone to leave the party with some. Who doesn’t like a party with gifts? Since we have a lot of coffee fans in our family, we invited Peggy and Jay’s uncle, John – the party site hosts, and Jay’s sister Ashley and her husband Chris. Our daughter, Amber, was also about to make it.

The weather was so nice that we decided to have our coffee party out on the patio. Everyone took a vote and we decided to try the Dunkin’ Donuts Caramel Coffee Cake Coffee first. At this point, Jay and I had already snuck into the Chocolate Glazed Donut variety. I have to say that both flavors are fabulous. I really love any type of coffee that has a caramel or chocolate flavor. Everyone at the coffee party agreed that the Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee was fabulous.

We also were able to enjoy iced coffee. Hungry Girl teamed up with Dunkin’ Donuts and came up with some fabulous iced coffee recipes. And guess what, I am going to share one with you today. This one takes a little time, but it is sooooooo worth it. 😉

Turtle Donut Blended Coffee Recipe

You will need…

1 tbsp. sugar-free French vanilla powdered creamer
2 tbsp. hot water
1 no-calorie sweetener packet
6 oz. already prepared and chilled Dunkin’ Donuts® Bakery Series Chocolate Glazed Donut Flavored coffee
1 tbsp. sugar-free calorie-free caramel-flavored beverage syrup
1 1/2 cups crushed ice or 8 – 12 ice cubes
1/4 cup fat-free whipped topping (from a can, not a tub)
1 tsp. Caramel Flavored Syrup
1 tsp. crushed pecans

Preparation…

In a tall glass, combine creamer with sweetener. Add 2 tbsp. hot water, and stir to dissolve.
Transfer mixture to a blender. Add already chilled Dunkin’ Donuts® Bakery Series Chocolate Glazed Donut flavored coffee, calorie-free caramel-flavored beverage syrup, and ice. Blend at high speed until smooth.
Pour and top with whipped topping. Drizzle with Smucker’s syrup, and sprinkle with pecans.
