Sean Astin: Keeping The Conversation Civil With Vox Populi
Sean Astin has a legitimate love for politics and he wants to share that with you. He also realizes that politics can be difficult to understand at times but he wants everyone’s voice to be heard. So, whether you are a diehard political fan or if you are the casual participant in the discussion, Sean Astin’s “Vox Populi” broadcast aims to bring you into the lively and intellectual discussion. He thinks it is important that all voices be heard and all concerns be considered, while keeping the conversation civil.
I know that a lot of time the reason I steer away from the political conversation is that people who know {or think they know} more than me can be very forceful about their opinions. I don’t want someone to try to convince me of their argument through intimidation. I am a college educated chick and no dummy. There is no need to talk to me like I *can’t* understand.
That is what I find inviting about Sean’s Astin’s Vox Populi Radio Broadcast. I just want to have a conversation and hear all sides of the matter and not me in the midst of a big mud bath. For his second season, I am excited to share with you that his “Vox Populi” broadcast has moved to TradioV and will air on Thursdays from 12-2 PT.

I don't do politics, but my husband would probably like his show. I had no idea he even had a radio show.
Hmmm. I think I'll put this in my calendar. It would be interesting to hear what he has to say on a few topics.

Polotics is very difficult for me to understand. I am very interested in listening to his show. I might just learn somthing new.
His show is targeted to people just like us who don't always understand each issue but want to join in the conversation. Personally, I want an explanation from someone who won't berate me or who has an agenda to push. :)
I currently work in politics but whenever I have a chance I try to stir away from political topics because the conversation gets ugly. I may check out this Twitter party.
