With Valentine’s day just around the corner, what better way to treat your special someone than with one of the many gourmet gift baskets from California Delicious. The Gourmet Cheese and Meat Gift basket is ideal for a romantic or simple picnic. It arrived with a great variety of cheeses and meats. Some of the cheeses include Sonoma Jack Habanero and Pesto Cheeses. Along with the Columbus salami, were also other tasty snacks including Napa Valley Mustard, Sonoma Cheese Straws, and Nunes Farm Cashews and Roasted Almonds. My whole family enjoyed this particular gift basket, and my mother especially loved the Sonoma Cheese Straws. My personal favorite would most certainly be the Napa valley mustard. This gift basket is priced at $48.99 but also came with a $50 voucher for Napa Valley Wine Site NakedWines.com. So, really, you can get gift baskets that are essentially free from California Delicious if you look around. You can’t really beat that price. 😉
One thing to be advised of: all of the baskets come with what is listed unless they have to make an adjustment due to stock issues. Our basket did not come in a woven basket, but instead a sturdy box. We have reviewed California Delicious before and this has not happened to us, so I am sure this doesn’t happen often.
Next, we chose the What’s Cooking, Valentine? Gift Basket. This one is perfect for the celebration of the upcoming holiday! Unlike the other one, this basket includes the ingredients to make a romantic meal for two. In a cute red colander, you will find heart shaped pasta, marinara sauce, cheese, olive oil, Sonoma Cheese Straws, and Asiago Cheese. To top it all off, the gift set also includes heart shaped chocolates, and chocolate Milano Biscotti.

I'll be honest...I started off looking for my daughter-in-law and son. I really did, but the Bacon Lover's Gourmet Gift Basket caught my eye. Bacon...yum! I've never heard of most of those products, and they would be fun to try.
