Armetale Grillware Chili Pot + Homemade Hot Dog Chili Recipe ~

Hey, you guys that like to grill, or ladies who like it when their man grills, have you ever wondered how to make chili on the grill without burning it? Real, honest to goodness, tasty chili? Allow me to introduce to you the Armetale Grillware Chili Pot. This is the ideal pot for cooking chili, soups and stews on the grill to perfection without them sticking to the pot or overcooking and burning.

Cook Your Hot Dog Chili On The Grill With The Armetale Grillware Chili Pot

The Armetale Grillware Chili Pot comes with a lifetime warranty against breakage, and is great for grilling, oven or stove top cooking. It is very durable and will not crack, chip, rust or tarnish. It is also a beautiful pewter color that I thought was quite cool myself. 🙂

The one thing that has pestered me through the years about grilling out was when I fixed hot dogs, I could not find a pot that I could use on the grill to make chili and not have it burn or stick to the bottom of the pot. In either case, it was awful, and I was stuck trying to run indoors to stir the chili on the stove and then back outdoors to the grill to check  on the hot dogs. If you have done this before, you know what I am talking about. It’s a real pain.

Now with the Armetale Grillware Chili Pot, those days are long gone for me.

Some people have also asked me what my homemade chili recipe is, so I am going to share it with you now! It’s really pretty simple. All you need is:

  • One pound of lean ground beef
  • One 1.25 oz packet of chili powder
  • Two 12.5 oz cans of either petite diced tomatoes or tomato sauce, chef’s preference
  • One small onion

Mince the onion into small pieces. Then brown and drain the ground beef. Add the onions to the beef, and allow them to simmer on low for about 10 minutes (this allows the onion flavor to penetrate the beef). Then add the diced tomatoes (or tomato sauce) and the chili powder to the beef and onions. Mix them thoroughly in your Armetale Grillware Chili Pot, and place on your grill at medium heat for about 20 minutes. Be sure to stir it occasionally to get the full flavor throughout your chili.

My Thoughts On The Armetale Grillware Chili Pot

Another wonderful thing about the Armetale Grillware Chili Pot is that after I was done with the chili, I cut the heat off to it and left it with the lid on until I had finished the hot dogs on the grill, which was about 20 minutes total. After that amount of time in a regular pot, the chili would be getting cold. But not in the Armetale Grillware Chili Pot! It was still piping hot when I served it on the hot dogs. Amber and Dawn like their hot dogs with mayo, chili and cheese. So, that’s what they got, and they both loved it!

I absolutely love grilling and I am going to cherish this pot for many years to come. I believe that any man who enjoys grilling half as much as I do will love it too!
