Recently, Natalie from ThredUp recently gave me a challenge. She wanted to see if I could purchase an entire week of school clothing for less then $150. I like to think of myself as a thrifty shopper and ThredUp offers some really sweet deals on name brand clothing, so I gladly accepted that challenge. This week, I will be posting pictures daily of the outfits that I picked out, along with the price that I paid for each item so that you can not only get an idea of pricing at ThredUp, but also some cool fashion ideas for the coming school year.

Juicy Couture and Gap For Less At ThredUp
I love Juicy Couture clothing, but I have to say, it is really expensive. Since I can not afford to pay around $100 or more on Juicy Couture’s website for one of their jackets, I have just done without. For less than a third of the price at ThredUp I decided to get myself a little splurge. 🙂
Though the Gap Jeggings are not nearly as expensive as the Juicy Couture Jacket, they are still around $35-$40 a pair. I love Jeggings because they are so comfortable and stretchy. This outfit will be great in the fall when I have to walk all over the campus to my classes. Warm and comfy. What more can you ask for?
So, what did I pay for my outfit?
I paid $8.99 for the Gap Jeggings at ThredUp and purchased the Juicy Couture jacket for $27.99 {my most expensive purchase for this entire challenge}
Today’s outfit was less than $40!

Good job getting a name brand hoodie. My daughter loves hoodies and sweatshirt jackets. She wants them to look nice and be cheap. They are just a great addition to your outfit. Plus, they keep you warm.

The jacket is cute. The logo is proudly displayed and the color would go with a lot. It would be great for keeping her warm in the colder classrooms. The jeggings and shoes are a great addition.
That hoodie looks comfortable and in great shape. It would go with a lot and keep you warm in these cooler months to come. A very useful pick that looks good and fits the budget.
I'm surprised that you got so many cute outfits for under 150.00. At most places you'll do good to find one.
