Get A New Clean With The Philips Sonicare PowerUp Toothbrush ~
What kind of toothbrush do you use? As a person who was not born into a family that set a high priority on great oral hygiene, I have had to learn healthy habits as an adult. Having a healthy smile is important to me and I want to keep it that way – so I try to instill in my daughter good habits that will help her teeth last her lifetime. And we all know that the most basic part of good dental care is choosing the right brush. That is why I want to share with you my experience with the Philips Sonicare PowerUp Toothbrush.
A New Kind Of Clean With Philips Sonicare PowerUp
Philips Sonicare PowerUp is a very cool new toothbrush that I got to try out recently. I used it for 7 days to see if it really did get my teeth cleaner than using a manual toothbrush. I have to say, documenting the trial with pictures was a real eye opener for me. I felt like the Philips Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush was getting my teeth cleaner, but seeing really is believing.
What do you think? Do my teeth look cleaner?
Battery Powered Toothbrushes Vs. Manual Toothbrushes
Manual tooth brushing is so 5,000 years ago. I want a clean that keeps my teeth looking more like what my teeth look like when I leave the dentist’s office. The Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush can do in 2 minutes what it takes you a month to do with a manual toothbrush. That is just a bit crazy – don’t you think? It’s not just about having a nice set of pearly whites, but it’s also about gingivitis, cavities and all of the other health issues that could arise because of poor dental hygiene. Why not get the best clean that you can for the least amount of effort?
Now I can take my old manual toothbrush and use it to scrub my grout. It is probably far more effective at that than it was at cleaning my teeth anyway. We also have an aquatic turtle. Sometimes his shell needs a good scrub-a-dub. 😉
Want to get more brush strokes in 2 minutes than you can in one month of using a manual toothbrush? Purchase the battery powered Philips Sonicare PowerUp at Walmart for less that $20. It’s really hard to put a price on good dental care, but less than $20 sounds like a good price to me. 😉

These are the BEST!
I use my old toothbrush to clean grout too. I switched to an battery powered brush a while ago and love it. It really does make a difference. At my last dental visit they commented on what a good job I was doing.
Oh that is awesome! I am very excited to see what my dentist has to say. :)
My daughter likes powered toothbrushes. She says they make her feel like she is actually getting her teeth clean. I'd like to hear the stories if you try to clean your turtle with one of these. :)
Not sure if I want to clean the turtle with the powered toothbrush, lol, but I do it all the time with a manual one. ;)
I would like this to help with yellow teeth.
I really can tell a difference. How cool!
Thank you very much!
I'd really love to try the Phillips Sonicare Power Up system, especially with a Colgate regimen. Working on my oral health is a personal goal this year, and a great powerbrush can help make up for lost manual strokes.
What a great goal to set! I am impressed. :)
This toothbrush is amazing!! It makes my smile perfect!
I love battery powered toothbrushes! I don't think I will ever go back to manual ones!!
I have the more expansive version. This looks like a great option especially for my kids.
My son loves his. Definitely a very popular toothbrush!
