Easter Bunny Express ~

All Aboard the Train!
Enjoy two great weekends of fun, with the Easter Bunny Express at the N.C. Transportation Museum! Lots of fun activities are planned for these two weekends including train rides on the Easter Bunny Express and there will even be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny, who will be riding alongside children and their parents, handing out candy for the kids.
Children will have the opportunity to participate in a lot of great activities including craft making and receiving temporary tattoos.
The event will also feature the Lehigh Valley Steam Locomotive #126 pulling the museum’s special Caboose Train!
Easter Bunny Express Train Ride Times
March 23 – 10, 11, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30
March 24 – 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30
March 29 – 10, 11, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30
March 30 – 10, 11, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30
March 30 ONLY – The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be at Noon. Children 10 and under will be divided into age categories to hunt for eggs stuffed with all kinds of goodies including toys, candy and stickers. There will also be golden eggs available in each group. Please don’t forget to bring your own basket.
The North Carolina Transportation Museum is located in beautiful Spencer, North Carolina. This is a family-friendly museum located on a 57 acre site filled with interesting exhibits and host to many special events. The North Carolina Transportation Museum houses four large exhibit buildings representing the remaining structures of the historic Spencer Shops, which educates and provides fun to those that are young and old alike.

This sounds fun! I have to see what we have going on around here for our 10 year old! I think that Easter egg hunts are so fun - wish I could do them again :)

What a fun way to celebrate the egg hunt with the kids. We've taken our kids on a train ride several times. Always such a fun experience!

How FUN! We'll be headed out this weekend to celebrate Easter too. I should see if there is a train like this to take our kids on! They'd LOVE it!
They have one of those around here and we thought about going, but it would just be too long of a trip for us. Hope you have fun!
