Wholly Guacamole Recipe
This weekend has been super busy in our home. Friday was our wedding anniversary {hooray!} and National Margarita Day {concidence?} and tonight is the Oscars. With all of this cool stuff going on, we needed something awesome to help us celebrate. And what better way to celebrate than with a tasty Wholly Guacamole Recipe from Eat Wholly {guacamole, baby!} and Daily’s Cocktails!
Wholly Guacamole Recipe: Toasted Ciabatta Sandwich
We saw the Wholly Guacamole recipe for the Toasted Ciabatta Sandwich at Eat Wholly and we made our own special variation of it. We passed on the garlic and the veggies and used the HomeStyle Variety of Wholly Guacamole Dip. We also toasted the cheese. Yum.
INGREDIENTS
4 Ciabatta rolls
1/4 pound bacon
1/2 pound deli turkey meat
Wholly Guacamole® Homestyle dip
INSTRUCTIONS
The recipe calls for cooking the bacon in a frying pan, but we cooked it in the microwave in one of those nifty microwave bacon cooker things {technical terms}.
Lightly toast Ciabatta bread and layered with the turkey and cheese. Then re-toast in the oven until the cheese gets bubbly.
Add the bacon and the guacamole and voila! Tasty!

What better way to celebrate the Oscars than to watch one of the Oscar winners from 2012! Oh, and to look at George Clooney in The Descendants. 😉 My husband was super pleased at the eye candy {bwawawawa!} – it’s okay, Amber and I were pleased enough to cover him, too. 🙂 Luckily, we found that movie on DISH and recorded it to the DVR so we can watch it whenever we like!
