No sorry, it's nothing that you did or anything wrong with the subscription. It was just a flash giveaway that I just found out about that night and posted. Since my emails go out in the morning daily, they grab whatever was not emailed the day before. The best way to get information is to definitely check the blog often - I realize that we can't all do that..but sometimes this does happen. But you can miss flash giveaways and really hot freebies if you only check the emails. I am sorry and hope you found something good on the site to look at so that your trip wasn't wasted. :) Also, be sure to add us on Facebook and Twitter if you haven't already.
