What’s For Dinner? Camp-Out Chili Dogs! #whatsfordinner

This recipe is for the slow cooker. It is also great for kids and super easy. When my daughter has friends over, they LOVE when we make this for them. Tastes like being around the camp fire, without all the work! 😉

Ingredients:

2 cans (15 ounces each) chili with chili beans

1 pound frankfurters

1 large onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/4 pound Cheddar Cheese, cubed or grated

Frankfurter rolls

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients except cheese and rolls in slow cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on Low for 5 to 10 hours or High 2 to 3 hours. Add cheese just before serving and allow to melt slightly. Serve each frankfurter in a roll and spoon sauce over top.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
