I don’t know about you, but sometimes I just feel like I need a break. My husband generally works 4 long days and gets 3 off on the weekend, so that is pretty sweet. Though we can’t do “nothing” every weekend, we do try to do “nothing” pretty often. After running across this super funny video, I think the folks at Cruzan Rum have my same philosophy. Very cool.

What will you being doing for vacation this year? My husband and I have been looking around at possible ideas. We have never ventured out of the country together {only I have left the country at all} and we ran across this cool video sharing the coolness of Holland!

I listen to my teen daughter talk ramble on and on about who she thinks is cute {Robert Pattinson, Robert Pattinson, and did I mention Robert Pattinson?} and it got me thinking back to who I thought was cute when I was a teen. Off the top of my head, I can recall a few that I still think are cute – Joe Elliott {Def Leppard}, John Cougar Mellencamp, Tim McGraw, Gary Sinise and Jason Priestley {yes, I think I have mentioned on this blog approximately 5 bajillion times about how much I loved {and still love} Beverly Hills 90210. However, there are also some crushes that I had as a teen that make me look back and think, “What was I thinking?”

All of us know about at least one crazy holiday, but I am willing to bet money that you might not have heard of National Rubber Ducky Day. This quack-y holiday takes place every year on January 13th. Perhaps you have owned a cute little rubber ducky on at least one point in your life. Also, you more than likely played with it in the bath tub! Those were the days. Not a care in the world but seemingly endless fun.
