My daughter had a friend over this weekend with movie rentals and girl time in mind. However, she got really sick on Saturday with what we all thought was the flu. By Sunday morning, we decided that it must not be the flu after all and we took her to the hospital where they immediately admitted her for appendicitis.

John Austin had a great time on his school trip to Washington DC.  When they first got there they stopped at McDonalds to get something to eat.  John Austin was amazed by their McDonalds.  It had 2 floors and that amazed him.  He even had to call me and tell me about it.  I thought it was kind of funny how excited he got over the two story McDonalds.

My 12 year old son John Austin will be going on his first out of state school trip to Washington DC this Thursday. I am very excited for him but I am also nervous. They are leaving the school at 5am and it takes 5 1/2 hours to get there. However, they are only staying one night and will be back Friday at 10pm.
