What will you being doing for vacation this year? My husband and I have been looking around at possible ideas. We have never ventured out of the country together {only I have left the country at all} and we ran across this cool video sharing the coolness of Holland!

Recently, our daughter had to be hospitalized for several days. She had to get her appendix taken out. As I am sure that many of you know, this can be a serious situation if left untreated and it can even be fatal. So, it is definitely a medical emergency and one that is rarely expected. With average hospital stays costing $10,000, an unplanned hospital stay can be a surprise that many families simply aren’t ready for.
Disney: Do They Objectify Mom Bloggers?
I don’t often post for Disney. I posted 2 things for them this week on my other blog Eat Play Rock and hadn’t posted anything for months maybe before that. I have no personal issue with Disney, but apparently others do. As any good ginger who likes to share her opinions {after they have simmered a while}, I thought I would share with you what I think about the post that another blogger wrote about her perceived objectification of women by Disney. And why I think she successfully disproves her argument with her argument.
Sears ~
I love shopping. I think most of us ladies do. But there is one thing that I don’t really care for, and that is running all over town trying to find everything on my list. I don’t have time for that. I really would rather just go to one or two places and find everything I need and then go home and relax. And that is why I love Sears so much!
Gift Ideas For Men ~
Finding the right gift for the guy in your life – your husband, boyfriend, brother, son – is difficult. Men are notoriously (and stereotypically) hard to buy for. We put together a Father’s Day Gift Guide each year but these are not the only gifts that are appropriate for the guy in your life. So how do you shop? What do you get? Where do you start?
Teen Driving ~
On March 27th, my aunt, daughter and I all traveled to the Peace Center in Greenville, South Carolina to attend the Drive It Home event sponsored by the AllState Foundation and the National Safety Council. The Drive It Home event is a 14 stop tour {Greenville being the first stop} that brings driver safety tips and statistics to parents to share with their teens.

Marie Callender’s and Healthy Choice just released a really cool video, illustrating how technology and instant information can make the frozen food aisle a simpler place. I thought you guys might find it interesting so I wanted to share it with you here. I am especially loving the mapping of the grocery store!
