I don’t often post for Disney. I posted 2 things for them this week on my other blog Eat Play Rock and hadn’t posted anything for months maybe before that. I have no personal issue with Disney, but apparently others do. DIY Drawer Liner Project

I received a piece of furniture secondhand, that was in decent shape. I think it was originally used as a desk, but I use it as a coffee station. With a bit of TLC, and some simple DIY projects, I plan on turning it in to an art studio/station. I’m not sure if I’d like to paint the entire unit, but I would like to refresh the piece a bit.

I think that we have all set up New Year’s resolutions, but I have so many things that I would like to get accomplished that it is really hard to set up just one. Plus, many of the things that I would like to do will probably take more than a year. Day Zero Project allows you to set up long term goals like the one I am going to try: 101 Things In 1,001 Days.

I recently heard about an inspiring little girl named Gwendolyn.

Gwendolyn is 4 years old.  She loves horses and butterflies (what 4 year old doesn’t)?  She loves the song “Somewhere over the Rainbow,” and is super excited to be starting kindergarten in the fall.  Gwendolyn is like many other little girls, except that she has SMA Type 1.

For any of you that watch “Good Luck, Charlie” and have seen that cool fridge they have – you have seen Instant Chalkboard! No, it isn’t that paint on stuff that you can get at Hardware Stores, although I did consider purchasing that a time or two. My daughter and I read the directions on the back on one can and realized that was too hard to us DIY novices! This is peel and stick vinyl. Seriously! You just peel and stick it.
