Cheap Is The New Classy

My daughter is moving out this summer into her first place with one of her friends. It will be me and the fur babies and, although I will miss the mini me, I am actually looking forward to it, as well. Right now I am looking up housewarming gift ideas and have come across a few that I like. Perhaps you guys could offer some opinions of the items I am choosing and also let us know what you bought your children when they first stepped out on their own.

You guys know me. I love saving money. You know what else I like? I like doing business with companies that help the environment and/or do social good. So, I am glad to be sharing BLINQ with you today and how they have partnered with Trees For The Future. This means that every time you place an order with BLINQ they plant a tree. Oh, and you can also save 70% off retail prices. :)

Save Up To 70% At BLINQ

Amber was mentioning how she wanted a nice set of flatware the other day. I have to say that I really like this Kate Spade flatware set. It’s simple but elegant looking. At less than $37, it’s a really nice price, too. I think this would make a good choice considering I have no idea what her kitchen will look like. I think this will go with a lot. What do you think?

Amber and I have also really gotten into the patterned panel curtains. I love the grommets. I love the rods. I love how the length of the curtains makes the window appear larger. However, curtains are subjective and I would definitely need to get Amber’s opinion on these before buying them. But what do you think? Do you love these Foamback Curtain Panels like I do?

While looking around on BLINQ, I also found this Rachel Ray set. I bought the EXACT SAME ONE a couple years ago on a Black Friday sale. If memory serves me correctly, I paid either $79 or $99 for it. I have since seen it in the same store for $99. You can get it at BLINQ for $56.99. Wow. That is awesome. My daughter loves mine and she is moving out this summer, so guess who might be getting one. ;)

How does BLINQ save customers up to 70% off you might ask? Well, lots of retailers buy way more than they need. They can’t sell all of this so that is where BLINQ steps in. They accept overstock, open box items and refurbish items and inspect them thoroughly before listing them. That way, you can save a ton on items that you need that might otherwise not be used. This saves you money and helps the environment.

BLINQ Is Environmentally Conscious

Each item is inspected and ensured to be in good condition before being listed at BLINQ. But even if you decide that something that you purchased from BLINQ is not for you after all, they don’t just throw your return away. Did you know that in the US, 4 billion {yes, BILLION, with a B} pounds of returned purchases and excess inventory gets sent to the landfill each year. Instead of throwing items like this away, BLINQ finds a home for them.

I am all about reading up on places before they get my business. You can check out some of BLINQ’s reviews here.
