Keep your family safe with the React Mobile App #sponsored

My daughter just got her license the other day. Wow. Not only does that signify that she is growing up WAY too fast, but also that she will have far more freedom than I am accustomed to her having. I am glad for her and the young lady that she has become. I also know that she is really excited, but I am also still worried about my daughter.

Turn Your Smartphone Into A Lifeline

React Mobile helps you keep people safe by turning your smart phone into a lifeline. Literally. You and your family {or whomever else you choose} can track each other. Perhaps you think this seems a little too “Big Brother” for you, but keep reading. Imagine your daughter is out running by herself or your son is an hour late arriving home. Neither one is answering their phone. Sure, your daughter may be too out of breath to chat and your son may have just been goofing around with friends and totally lost track of time.

Now imagine if someone creeps up on your daughter or if your son is in a car accident and trapped in his car – wouldn’t you want them to be able to get help? With the React Mobile App, all your child has to do is click the SOS Shield, sending out a panic alert and their GPS location to their selected contacts and you will be immediately notified to call 911. They can also choose to post their location on Facebook and Twitter.

React Mobile Lets Your Kids Check In Without Cramping Their Style

When I let my daughter drive my car, I make her call me when she arrives and when she leaves from each destination. I am sure her friends love picking on her about all of the calls to mommy. With the React Mobile App, all she has to do is click “I’m Safe” on her phone and go on with her day – no mommy cramping her style. ;)

React Mobile also works for those outside of North America. The app allows you to choose which country you live in (or are traveling to) from the settings tab and when an SOS alert is triggered, you will be prompted to dial the appropriate emergency authority depending on you’re geographic location (ex: in the UK the app will prompt a user to dial 112/999 not 911).

Phones have GPS locators anyway, so you are not infringing on your child’s privacy. When your family uses React Mobile, you are looking out for each other and keeping each other safe, just like families should – even when you are apart.

I like this! There is so much crime in my neighborhood – I’m getting this – thanks!

  2. md Kennedy says:

What a great – an practical (unlike many other!) – app. I’ve never heard of React Mobile but I will for sure look into it!

  3. Sherry Compton says:

This is a good way for both you and your daughter feel safe and secure. It gives you piece of mine and let’s her know she has a backup safety plan. When our kids began driving is when we got them cell phones. They need to check in, be able to call for help, or just to say hi.

This is a really great app! I just told my husband about it! My son is 15 years old so…I would like him to have this on his phone!

    • Christina A. says:

Just wanted to post a follow-up comment…I just pulled this up on the Google Play store…the app is free!

      • Dawn McAlexander says:

Thank you Christina. I definitely should have mentioned that. Everyone loves FREE! :)

  5. This would be really nice to have. Especially for if you have children and want to check on them. I see above the app is free – I will have to check this one out – would be great if it is . thanks

  6. I didn’t know that this was available. I don’t have a cell, smart phone or whatever they are called. If I did I’d use this.

  7. I love this idea for everyone, especially to keep up with kids. I always want to keep them safe even when I’m not there.

  8. We just got my daughter her first phone (for her 11th birthday). I thought she was too young but we felt we needed to. Surprisingly, I’m actually really happy I’m able to contact her when she’s not home!

    • Dawn McAlexander says:

My daughter got her first phone when she was like 9 or 10. I thought it was too early, too, but now she is 16 and she has never gone over her minutes even once. :)

  9. This would be great to have a what a fabulous app!

  10. This would be great for my teens. I need to look into this.

  11. React Mobile sounds like it’s perfect for us, our teenage daughter will be driving soon! Thanks so much for recommending it!

Mine just got her license a month-ish ago. It is scary, but it’s also really nice to send someone else to the grocery store for a change. :)

  12. This could be a really useful app. I’ll have to check it out further.

  13. I am so not ready for my kids to be driving. I do like that I can track where they are from the phones. It amazes me all the things we can do from our phones.

  14. <3 this. I have two young teenage drivers and like you, I worry too. Anything we can do to make them safer is well worth it.

  15. i’m so glad things like this exist for when my kids have cell phones in a few years.

  16. This is a really great idea! Today safety is such a huge thing and we all need to be more safety aware!

  17. This is wonderful, there are so many times I am leary about being alone when it’s dark or out with all 5 kids. There are so many crazy people out there – sounds like a great tool to keep you safe!

  18. Wow, I don’t have a smart phone yet, but others in my family do and it’s great that there are so many apps, but it’s even better that there are apps like this that can make a huge difference in emergencies!
