Panda For A Pet ~
In my household, there has always been pets. At the moment, we have four cats, two dogs and a turtle! We love animals and have a hard time saying no to a new pet . Although I love the animals that we have, I am a firm believer that a baby panda would be the best pet ever!
Lions and Tigers and Pandas. Oh My!
There are less than 1,600 pandas left in the wild – worldwide.
I love pandas, I mean who wouldn’t?! In my freshman year of high school, we went on a field trip to Atlanta, Georgia. While we were there, we got to go to the Atlanta Zoo! I was having a blast there when I saw the penguins, lions, and all the other adorable animals. Then, suddenly I saw the fat pandas! I got so excited! Two of them were asleep on big tree branches with their arms and legs hanging down! The others were rolling around on the ground and wrestling! It was by far the cutest thing I have ever seen.
Many people don’t know this, but pandas are so chubby because they spend up to 16 hours a day eating! Another thing is that sadly the panda is currently endangered which means that there are barely any of them left and they could easily become extinct. There are so few pandas left, in fact, that there are less than 1,600 left in the wild – worldwide.
Newborn pandas are about the size of a stick of butter—about 1/900th the size of its mother—but can grow to up to 330 pounds as adults. These bears are excellent tree-climbers despite their bulk.
One cute habit that pandas have is that they like to do roll around! This is adorable and they do it because it is hard for them to walk fast. Here you can see one silly panda rolling around and being hyper as others observe.
Also, this is a video that EVERYONE needs to watch. This video is by far one of the funniest and cutest videos I have ever seen. By sneezing, a baby panda wakes itself up and scares its mother! Hahahaha!
From all the videos that I have seen, Pandas seem to be very silly, kind and playful! They love playing and from this video you can also see that.
