Recently I received a very cool message in my inbox. It read..

I’m the Fairy Hobmother, spreading light and joy across the blogosphere with the help of talented bloggers like you!

Well, isn’t that just awesomesauce? Who can’t use some “light and joy?” :)

What Exactly Is A Fairy Hobmother?

I can’t say that I have ever heard of a Fairy Hobmother before. But anyone who is going to write me a nice note and send me good wishes and such is alright by me.

That definitely beats some of the stuff I get in my inbox. ;)  No, Mr. United Arab Ambassador to the Inspector General {or whatever}, I don’t want your 50 million dollars in US Funds to get you out of your being trapped in a foreign country pickle. Thanks, though. Compliments of the day to you, too, buddy. Yes, I am no mastermind, but somehow me thinks that if you can email me, you can also email your mommy to come get you. Good try spammer. ;)

The Fairy Hobmother is no spammer, though. She {actually a dude} has been spreading light and joy across the blogosphere for sometime now and finally some of that fairy dust is being sprinkled upon Cheap Is The *New* Classy. Yay! I know that there are many of you other bloggers who might be reading this now thinking, “How in the heck do I get the Fairy Hobmother to sprinkle some fairy dust on me?” Well, here is what you need to do.

1. Comment below – Let the Fairy Hobmother know that she is invited over to your neck of the blogosphere to play.

2. Visit the Fairy Hobmother so that she knows she is invited to come see you, as well. Everyone wants to be invited somewhere, right? I left you ways to contact her below. :) You never know, your inbox might have some Fairy Hobmother love in it tomorrow!

    My husband one time got a message from a spammer sayin that his mom (he also got one that said his dad) was stranded in some other country and asked them to reach him for them. NICE TRY IDIOTS!! for 2 reasons:
    1. Anytime husbands parents went anywhere he always knew to reach them
    2. His parents both passed away 6 mnths away from ech other about 7 years ago
    so it would kinda be hard for them to be stranded someplace! Tho at this time would sound fantastic!
    As for Fairy..I find random acts of kindsness waay cool! I try when i can! So Fairy hobmother I would love a visit!

      Wow. Mom and Dad are real close for most people and it would be easy to call and check that out real fast. It seems like the best ones are long lost friends and distant family.
