Jackets For Girls From Cookie’s Kids ~

Jackets For Girls From Cookie's Kids

Cookie’s Kids is a clothing store that has been around for 40 years. Featuring the latest fashions for kids, finding something that your little one will like is so easy. We found that out when my friend, Johnetta, and I went shopping for her daughter, Jacklyn. Jacklyn loves anything that is sassy and cute and she loves to wear bright colors that stand out. Her mother likes for her to wear clothes that can stand up to child’s play and that are appropriate for the weather conditions for which they are intended. While shopping for jackets for girls, we found that Cookie’s Kids had plenty of options to suit everyone’s needs and wants.

Cookies Kids Item Description For Carter's Ice Zebra Insulated Jacket

This was our first time shopping at Cookie’s Kids. I know that many times you can be unsure about what to expect from an online store. I have even shopped at some online stores in which I could not even figure out how to check out, or I would get strange charges after I proceeded to the check out screen. None of this is what we experienced with Cookie’s Kids. Of the jackets for girls that were available, Jacklyn chose the Carter’s Ice Zebra Insulated Jacket. The Cookie’s Kids purchasing and payment screens were all very easy to navigate and the process was smooth and pain free – and it was also fast as was shipment. Even with the holidays, Jacklyn’s jacket arrived within a few days.

Cookie's Kids packaging

It’s really hard not to get excited over such a bright package. :)

Jackets for girls can be tough to choose online as color and size might be different than what you may expect. But, Jacklyn was very excited when her jacket arrived from Cookie’s Kids. It may sound silly but even I got excited when I saw the bright colors on the packaging. I could not wait for her to open the jacket so that we could see her in it. :)

The hood snaps on for easy removal in warmer weather

When we looked at the Carter’s Ice Zebra Jacket, it was the attention to detail that really impressed me most. I really love that the hood is removable. Sometimes it just isn’t cold enough for a hood. And some kids just don’t like to wear them and might prefer ear muffs and/or scarves. It was just really nice to have so many choices of jackets for girls with each having so many features.

I also really love how well insulated this jacket is. Not all jackets for girls and boys are like that. I have a fleece lined jacket and it is so warm. I went to college in Boone, NC., and if any of you know anything about Boone, then you know what cold is. Up on a mountaintop in ski and snowboarding country. Brrr! I believe that a person in this jacket would be fine there.

Jacklyn really loved the jacket upon first site. The sizing was great and the coat fit her just as we had hoped. Also, she looked so cute in it. After all, isn’t that what is really most important to a little girl? ;)

It was chilly outside so Jacklyn pulled up her hood and decided to go for a ride on her bike. She also played with her cat {who is black and white like her coat, by the way} and modeled her new jacket for us all. Good luck getting her back inside now. :D

Learn a Little About Cookie’s Kids

In 1972, a young man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens, and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. The toys were a success and they put the extra money toward buying children’s clothing for the next season. When that did well, the business was on it’s way.

As the brothers Cookie, Marvin and Sonny, who had come in as a third partner in the business, began to open new stores in new locations, inventory expanded. Besides the latest fashions, our customers wanted shoes, toys, backpacks and accessories and we were prepared to deliver.

By the late 1990′s there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie’s Kids. Also in the late ’90s came an important addition to Cookie’s Kids’ inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding CookiesKids.com in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie’s Kids Inventory.

Cookie’s Kids has 7 stores in the NYC area in Bronx, Brooklyn and Jamaica and you can also order online at CookiesKids.com.
