So, it’s the holidays – and you are on a diet. That doesn’t mean that you have to or will blow your diet. You also don’t have to do a drastic fad diet. I have found thatΒ NutrisystemΒ is definitely one of the easiest diets to stick with as it isn’t as stringent as other diet programs. Yes, Nutrisystem has it’s foods that it recommends you eat and those that it recommends you not eat, but you do have LOTS of choices.Β I would like to share with you some tips on how to stick with your diet this holiday season.

I followed some holiday diet tips provided by Nutrisystem and came up with a few of my own to stay on track through Thanksgiving. My favorite food for Thanksgiving is green bean casserole. No one in my household likes it besides me, so I generally make a small one and end up eating most of it throughout the week. I knew THAT was a big no-no! I was too scared to even look at the amount of calories in Cream of Mushroom soup, I mean, hey, it’s CREAM! But the heart wants what the heart wants, so I HAD to have it. So, my daughter invited a friend over who also likes green bean casserole and I ate only a small portion. And it was YUMMY! And I did not beat myself up about it later. πŸ™‚

And then it was back to hard core Nutrisystem after that. πŸ™‚

Last Friday I weighed in and I had lost even more weight! I did not gain, nor did I remain the same weight during the holidays, either! Yay me! Below is a full list of the holiday diet tips that I received shortly before Thanksgiving. I hope that you find them as helpful as I did. πŸ™‚

    • I had sweet potato pie before and it is awesome, so I am not sure I wouldn’t have don’t the same thing. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Remember, each day is a new day. πŸ™‚
