I am one of those girls that absolutely will NOT go out of the house without some kind of makeup on. It’s not that I feel unsure of myself; it’s just that it makes me feel more confident. When my mom asked if me if I would like to get some Mary Kay, I was like, OF COURSE! When searching through the catalog I realized that there were a lot of great products to choose from. I was also surprised to find that they offered products not only for women, but for men too!
This is great, because most cosmetic companies don’t. Here are the products that my dad and I chose for review…

My dad got the Mary Kay Cooling After-Shave Gel. He said that it was “indeed cooling and did not burn like most other after shaves that contain alcohol do. It went on smooth and did not leave any evidence of razor burn.”

They had many things to choose from. Some of the things included lip gloss, eye shadow, foot care, and many, many more things to choose from. I personally love lip gloss, so I knew that that would be one of the first things I chose. The first lip gloss I chose was in their “Nourishine Plus” line. I have to say that I am really impressed! I usually only wear clear lip gloss but, this one is not. They call it Au Naturel. It is kind of a light pinkish color. It’s really pretty and goes great with the natural color of my lips!

The next lip gloss I picked was clear (of course), but part of their special line called “Satinlips”. When I tried this on, I was amazed! Within seconds my lips were already starting to feel renewed and silky smooth!

After this, I decided to explore their eye shadow. This was a good decision because I found many, many great shades of beautiful colors. The first one that caught my eye was “emerald”. I loved it, and when I tried it on, I loved it even more! My eyes are green, and this eye shadow really makes them standout.

Another one that caught my eye was “Silver Satin”. It’s not unusual that I would pick silver, because I usually wear shades close to silver, on a daily basis. Both shadows are amazing and gorgeous! They both seem like they contain many, tiny sparkles to add a little to it.

Overall, I am really impressed and happy with my decision in picking out these wonderful products. I hope that many of you will read this and go out and buy your own Mary Kay products, and love them just as much as I do!

I have never tried Mary Kay products but want to try. I am not one of those woman who can’t leave the house without make-up but I don’t like to leave without perfume. So, if I win, I’d try some perfume. They all look wonderful!!

In all honesty, men probably need more of the skin care products. There are a lot of men that work and/or play in the sun more than women.

I HAVE USED MARY KAY PRODUCTS BEFORE AND LOVE THEM!!! I THINK THEIR FULL LINE(AND NOW THE MEN) ARE ALL 100% GOOD
SOME PRODUCT LINE COMPANIES HAVE A COUPLE WELL KNOW PRODUCTS, BUT MARY KAY HAS ALL HER STUFF IN THE POPULARITY + CATEGORY. I CAN NOT SAY I HAVE TRIED THE MEN’S LINE, BUT I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO BUY FOR A MAN AS A GIFT.

thanks for the review of the products, I love Mary Kay and have used their eyeshadows and lipglosses, and now that they have some men’s products it is a great company for both women and men.

thanks for the mens aftershave review, i’ve always heard mary kay has really good stuff, i would like to try some of their mens stuff.
I used to use Mary Kay make-up a few years back but the lady I bought from moved away and I never did get another consultant. I have always loved their make-up and have missed having it. I also didn’t realize they now carry men’s products too. Perhaps both my husband and I might find our way back to Mary Kay. Thanks so much for the review and the info!

Just a suggestion…
To get men to try Mary Kay’s products for men, don’t use the word Mary Kay as men using Mary Kay’s products just sound unmanly, use the term MKmen instead, just like it says on the Cooling After-Shave Gel
