In Chuck Season 5 episode ‘Chuck Versus the Hack Off,’ Chuck gets to show off his awesome computer hacking skills. In this episode (that was directed by Zachary Levi), Chuck (“The Piranha”) must use his awesome computer skills in order to aid the team in capturing the Omen Virus.

One time my daughter’s computer messed up big time. It was going super slow and there were tons of ads popping up all the time. At that time, I definitely did not have the money to take it to a computer shop for repair. Nor did I do (or do I still) have the expertise to fix it. I thought to myself that there had to be a way to fix it, so I decided to attempt to solve the problem myself. Our virus protection didn’t take care of the problem but it did tell us what the problem was. That was a great starting point! I began to run searches on the problem (if memory serves me correctly, it was a trojan) on the internet and read the suggested ways of fixing. It took 14 hours (sheesh!) but I finally was able to track down the file and delete it. I ran my antivirus again and it was no longer there!! You have never seen someone so excited in your life! And it didn’t cost me a cent!
