Have you ever tried to shop on Black Friday? Sheesh! I try to avoid these situations at all costs. I love the deals, but not enough to fight someone over a $5 waffle maker. I did use to work at a department store that scheduled me the night/morning before the big sale. We had to guard pallets of stuff to keep people from touching it until the allotted time. Some of these people were testy!
Could you imagine if the computers went down, too, during all this mess? One time my daughter went shopping with a family member on Black Friday and she went to sleep in the shopping cart. She said she woke up to find a flat screen TV laying across the buggy (not her) and stuff all around her in the buggy. This family member is one of those people that gets up crazy early (if she sleeps at all) to score the hottest deals on Black Friday. My daughter also said that she saw people fighting over a DVD player. Nice.
Do you do the Black Friday thing? What is the best deal you ever got during Black Friday or any other holiday shopping? Or do you instead hang out at home and watch TV?
Speaking of watching TV and avoiding stores, Chuck Season 5 is now out on DVD and you can order it online!
“I have been hired by Warner Bros WBWord division to raise awareness for ‘Chuck.’”

You know, I hate to say this, but I never watched this show. Maybe I should get the DVD’s to catch up. Thanks for the post!

There are a lot of shows that I didn’t watch on TV, that I ended up watching either on DVD or in syndication.
